Greenr Global Pty Ltd (ABN 70 644 562 014) (“Greener,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is dedicated to safeguarding the privacy of our customers, users, and stakeholders. We acknowledge the trust placed in us when handling ESG-related data, and we handle that responsibility with care and openness.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use our websites, applications, platforms, or services (collectively, the “Services”).

Greener is based in Australia and complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Where necessary, and where applicable, we aim to align our practices with international frameworks such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. In case of any inconsistency, Australian law will take precedence unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Our Services include Greener for Enterprise, Greener Connect, and related tools that assist organisations in meeting climate-related disclosure obligations, including Mandatory Climate Reporting (MCR) under frameworks such as the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standard (AASB S2), the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG), and the Partnership for Carbon Accounting and Financials (PCAF).

This Policy applies when:

  • You access or use our Services in any capacity, such as an employee, administrator, or consultant.

  • Your organisation or a partner firm supplies your data to us.

  • You upload content, interact with AI agents, or engage with any part of the Greener platform.


What’s Included

This Policy covers how we handle:

  • Information you provide to us directly

  • Information your organisation provides on your behalf

  • Information generated or inferred from your use of the platform (e.g. usage logs, classification results)

  • Information processed through our AI assistant and classification systems

  • Interactions with our infrastructure and subprocessors


What’s Not Covered

This Policy does not apply to:

  • Personal information relating to employment with Greener (covered under our HR privacy policy)

  • Third-party platforms or services that integrate with Greener are governed by their own privacy policies. If you choose to connect Greener to these platforms, they will handle your data according to their own terms, which we do not control. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before using such integrations.

  • Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer reasonably identify an individual.


Greener is a B corporation committed to transparency, stakeholder accountability, and responsible innovation. We see privacy as a fundamental part of ethical technology, especially when supporting climate governance, supply chain transparency, and enterprise readiness for ESG compliance.

2. Types of Personal Information We Collect

The types of personal information Greener collects depend on how you interact with our Services and your role within your organisation. We collect information directly from you, from your organisation, and automatically through your use of the platform. We may also process information embedded in documents uploaded by your company, ESG advisor, or authorised users


We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and Contact Details: Your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, and unique user ID.

  • Information your organisation provides on your behalf

  • Information generated or inferred from your use of the platform (e.g. usage logs, classification results)

  • Information processed through our AI assistant and classification systems

  • Interactions with our infrastructure and subprocessors


What’s Not Covered

This Policy does not apply to:

  • Personal information relating to employment with Greener (covered under our HR privacy policy)

Purpose

Provide a single, predictable and accessible grievance mechanism that any stakeholder can use to raise concerns about Greener’s impacts or conduct and obtain a fair, timely resolution. Where a disclosure qualifies under Australia’s Corporations Act 2001 (Part 9.4AAA), whistleblower protections apply.

Scope

Who can use this mechanism: All stakeholders (internal and external) including employees, officers, contractors, suppliers and their employees, customers, community members and other affected stakeholders.

We accept anonymous reports. If you do not provide a contact method, we will still assess and investigate, but may be unable to provide updates. If you wish to stay anonymous and receive updates, you may use a temporary/alias email address.

What you can report

Grounds for accepting a complaint

We accept grievances about Greener’s (or our suppliers’/contractors’) impacts or conduct, including:

  • human rights, labour, or community impacts;
  • environmental impacts, safety or product/service issues;
  • business integrity (e.g., fraud, bribery/corruption, sanctions breaches, serious conflicts of interest, material misstatements, serious policy or legal breaches);
  • marketing/claims integrity; and
  • other ethical concerns about our operations or value chain.

Privacy complaints continue under our Privacy Policy. Personal work-related issues may be handled by HR; however, if they indicate potential misconduct or systemic issues, they will be treated as grievances under this mechanism.

Process and timelines

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 5 business days.
  2. Assess & investigate proportionately; we may contact you for more information.
  3. Initial update/outcome within 30 calendar days where possible; if complex, we’ll provide a revised timeline and reasons.
  4. Closure & communication of results: we confirm resolution steps or explain why the matter was not accepted as a grievance.

If you’re dissatisfied, you may request an internal review by the CEO or Board delegate, and you may contact relevant regulators.

Whistleblower Protection

The following applies to anyone using the mechanism

Commitment to whistleblower protection

Greener prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith through this mechanism or to an eligible recipient. We will protect confidentiality, assess and mitigate detriment risks, and support reporters throughout the process.

Who may qualify for legal protections

Current and former employees, officers, contractors, suppliers and their employees, and relatives/dependants may qualify as eligible whistleblowers under the Corporations Act.

Protections

Corporations Act s1317AI(5) & ASIC RG 270

  • Identity confidentiality (and limits on disclosure).
  • Protection from detriment (no victimisation).
  • Compensation and remedies, and liability protections provided by law.
  • Support & protection measures: confidential handling, restricted access to records, detriment risk assessment and reasonable adjustments.
  • Investigation of qualifying disclosures and fair treatment of individuals named, consistent with confidentiality.
  • Availability: this policy is published on our website and provided to officers and employees.
    Anonymous disclosures can qualify for protection.

How to report to eligible recipients

You may report via the web form/email above, or to the CEO, Board member, external auditor, ASIC/APRA/ATO, or a legal practitioner.

Consequences for retaliation

Any retaliation or threatened detriment will result in disciplinary action (up to and including termination) and may be reported to regulators; civil and criminal penalties can apply under the Corporations Act.

Confidentiality, data & privacy

We restrict access to reports, store them securely, and redact identifying details where feasible. Information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We retain investigation records as required by law and governance standards, and keep de-identified statistics to improve our controls.

Training & continuous improvement

  • This policy is public. Employees receive onboarding and annual training; Investigators receive enhanced training.
  • We review themes and outcomes periodically and report insights to the Board.
